Processes
The IMS software’s easy-to-use drawing tool allows you to create clear descriptions of the company’s core processes and support processes
The IMS Process section utilizes Arter’s three-page technique. This refers to a process description that includes a process diagram, a summary page of the process’s key points, and a step description page where you can elaborate on the process’s work steps. Thanks to the three-page technique, you don’t need to fit all the information related to the process implementation into the process diagram.
Additionally, with links, you can effortlessly attach all related documentation to processes, such as risk management or individual instructions
Documents
With the IMS software’s document section, you can maintain, version, and archive documents in one place. The system manages both operational and resulting documents. IMS enables clear responsibility creation for document review, approval, inspection, and versioning practices.
Finding documents is easy with hierarchical directory structure and document tree, as well as various search functions. You can use keywords, tags, or responsible persons to aid in document search. You can also search for recently updated documents or your favorites
Manuals
Create and maintain necessary manuals with the IMS software’s browser-based word processing program. You no longer need to collect the latest information for manuals, as linking process descriptions, metrics, and instructions to manuals updates them simultaneously when updated in their own sections.
Additionally, you can share the maintenance of manual sections with different people by authorizing writing and maintenance, for example, by chapter.
With the IMS software, you can create an operational or management rule, sales manual, self-monitoring plan, self-assessment background description, orientation manual, and quality award application.
Metrics
IMS’s visual dashboard helps you monitor and improve operations – creating a data-driven basis for action decisions. You can maintain metrics manually or connect them to your desired data source in IMS, updating the metrics automatically. The software allows manual updating of metrics by assigning responsibility to individual users or user groups, reminding them of missing values.
With the metrics section, you can break down the organization’s strategy implementation into clear goals and metrics.
Reports
Make recording, monitoring, and handling feedback, near-miss situations, and deviations easy! The IMS software provides an efficient and location-independent tool for feedback and assessment event management. Reports can be made either on a computer or phone.
Create standard form templates for recording development suggestions, deviations, complaints, or assessments. Additionally, you can assign the handling of received feedback or deviations to your desired software user.
Risks
A comprehensive quality, management, or operational system requires professional risk management support. Additionally, risk-based thinking was established as the basis for decision-making in the 2015 ISO 9001 standard. In the IMS software’s risk management section, you can classify and analyze risks and attach risk assessments, probabilities, and impacts to them. You can start risk recording either by using IMS’s default settings or customizing them to suit your needs.
The risk section links to other sections of the IMS operational system through links. Linking risks to processes, metrics, and manuals described with the IMS software complements, for example, an ISO-standard compliant quality system.

Information security
We follow general best practices in the development and testing of the IMS software, including OWASP recommendations. Additionally, our operations are guided by the Total Specific Solutions group’s Security Control Framework. Arter’s software development and cloud services are located in Finland, and IMS usage occurs over a TLS-protected connection. The cloud service provider, Arter, is responsible for content backups, which are scheduled daily. Cloud server operations are monitored, and security threats are responded to immediately. The IMS software can be installed on the customer’s internal network, achieving intranet-level security.
